Give your loved one a personal memorial celebration 

An European-style country state in a wooded 350 acre park, minutes away from historic Stillwater (Minnesota), the Outing is a great venue for a unique memorial reception. Our gardens and lawns welcome casual strolling,  a pastoral service and a relaxed ceremony. For a garden service, the capacity is almost limitless. If the weather is not inviting for a garden ceremony or during the winter season,  the library accommodates up to 140 guests in front of a charming marble fireplace. The Main floor can host up to 200 guest for ceremony and hors d’oeuvres receptions.

The Outing Lodge provides very elegant service in a romantic country-sidttie seng. Your guests will appreciate the relaxing ambience with our superb food and attention to detail. Our staff makes every effort to offer professionalism combined with warm personal attention.

For white linen sit down service, the main dining room seats 150 or up to 300 guests using all three floors of the Inn. The limestone and brick English Pub downstairs is also a wonderful room for smaller size groups.

After the life celebration, you and your out of town guests have the option to simply walk upstairs to your bedroom. At the Outing Lodge your memorial service will not feel like a burden but rather a celebration of your loved one’s life.  Take in the old times, share fond memories and reunite with loved ones and friends. After the event, you will feel that the healing process has begun.
