Keepsakes and Programs

When someone close to our hearts passes away, we oftentimes want to hold onto something as a memento of that person's life.  There are a variety of personal options available, from items used at the funeral service to diamond heirlooms created using the deceased's ashes.

Funeral service programs are printed brochures that are handed out prior to the funeral, memorial service or life celebration.  In most cases the information is provided by the family or friends of the person for whom the service is planned.

Oftentimes the funeral memorial service program is kept as a keepsake for years following the funeral or memorial service.

Suggested items to include in the program:

·         The deceased’s full name

·         Years of birth and death

·         Service order of events

Optional program items:

·         Biography – life highlights

·         Surviving family members

·         Scripture verse or favorite poems

·         Photos

Funeral Homes provide programs to their customers.  When custom programs are desired or when a service is held outside of a funeral home, many individuals and families are opting to create their own or hire an outside service to customize programs, stationery and/or thank you notes.
